1

Step 1. We remove and clean the hood filters.

This important first step is where your kitchen crew and other cleaning companies typically stop.

2

Step 2. Drape and funnel hoods.

We don’t leave a mess behind after we’re done. Draping and funneling your hoods allows us to capture the greasy wastewater that comes from cleaning your hoods.

3

Step 3. Cover appliances, if necessary.

Most kitchens stay open, even through hood exhaust cleaning. We take care to cover all appliances as needed to ensure your kitchen is just as clean after we’re done as when we started.

4

Step 4. Apply degreaser to hood, fan and duct work.

This is where the cleaning really starts. Degreasers help to break up the grease so we can clean efficiently.

5

Step 5. Pressure-wash hood, fan and duct work to remove grease.

Using the entry points available, we pressure-wash the entire exhaust system from the top down, leaving no corner untreated.

6

Step 6. Clean up excess water and remove drape.

We won’t leave our mess for you to clean up. Our trained team members are careful to make sure your kitchen is clean and ready to operate again.

7

Step 7. Wipe down and polish hood.

Kitchen employees and restaurant owners take pride in their equipment, and we make sure everything is polished and looking professional.

8

Step 8. Test function of hood fan.

When we’re done cleaning, we will perform a test to ensure the hood is fully operational. We leave nothing to chance.

9

Step 9. Place a certification sticker on the outside of the hood.

Sometimes our customers need a reminder of when their hood exhaust system was last serviced. We will leave a sticker in a prominent place so you and inspectors know when your hood was cleaned, and when it’s time to give us another call.

10

Step 10. Fill out report and note any deficiencies and/or preventative maintenance recommendations.

Our technicians get to know your equipment literally inside and out. We will provide you with a full report of what we did and let you know if we notice any maintenance issues you should look into further.
